My stay at Hotel Campanario was truly wonderful. The staff were incredibly attentive and treated us like family, addressing every need we had. though I did find the bathroom a bit dark at times. The hotel's location was perfect, just a short walk from the main square and Cathedral, which made exploring Cuenca easy and enjoyable.

I had a pretty solid stay at Hotel Campanario. The staff was super friendly and went above and beyond to help me, especially when my luggage got lost. However, I faced some issues like weak water pressure in my first room and a bit of noise from above that woke me up at times.

I had a mixed experience at Hotel Campanario. The historic charm of the building and its perfect location in the center of Cuenca were definite highlights. However, my room didn't meet expectations in terms of comfort, and I faced some noisy disturbances during my stay. 🤔

Rooms

I booked a double room with a balcony and city views but ended up in a smaller, awkward room with two single beds. After addressing this, I was moved, but the new room had an annoying motion sensor light that would turn on unexpectedly. The beds felt quite hard, making it difficult to rest well.
Service

The staff was friendly and seemed to care, but I did feel a sense of annoyance from them when I asked for a room change. Overall, they were accommodating but could improve in some areas.

My experience at Hotel Campanario was overwhelmingly positive, but there were a few minor issues. The staff were incredibly attentive and made my stay feel special, even accommodating my dietary preferences as a strict vegetarian. The only downsides were a dim bathroom and a couple of quirks in room amenities, like a disruptive motion-sensor light. Overall, it was a fantastic stay in a charming location.
